Gone as soon as she came

Ahhh...a nice long hiatus to clear the sinuses and whatever else needed to be cleared. Let me get to my weekend. Against better judgement, I attended another adventure in amateur theater with Justin. This time it was a catholic school production of Neil Simon's "Broadway Bound" and it wasn't so bad. Of course, you had to get past the whole idea of blatantly Italian actors doing parts meant for blatantly Brighton Beach Jews, but it was ok. After the show, we met up with a friend, Liam, who played the part of the Grandpappy. We all decided to go and hang at this bar around the corner. Anyway, drinks were had and good times were shared. This cute Italian girl comes up to me because she heard me mention Herman Badillo's name. I don't know why I was mentioning the name of an obscure third-candidate in this years New York mayoral race, but I was. Anyway, she starts telling me how she worked on the Badillo campaign and all this funny stuff about how the guy was close to death. Next thing you know, we are sitting at the bar, having drinks. Ok, dead giveaway here to the "great" passionate move I've made in my last umpteenth romantic encounters; I touch the girls hand!! WOOOO!!! What a diehard sexy move!! Actually, it gives me an idea if the girl is remotely interested. If she is, she'll let me hold her hand. The cute Italian girl did. Nice passionate smooching was had. Afterwards, I was about to ask for her number when she says, "Do you do e-mail?" Do I do e-mail? Do I? I had no clue what she meant. I said yes. She gave me her e-mail and I gave her mine. Yes. It's true. I'll never see this girl again.
