1:12 p.m. on 2002-04-05 This won't be too long since I have 850 billion things to do today, but I promised a semi-funny story and I shall deliver! About 4 months back, I got this random IM from some chick who said she found my profile on MOC. So, she just started bullshitting about how boring life in Vermont was...blah blah blah. I'll call her Erica, because as funny as this is, I'm not mean enough to blow up a sad persons spot. Time progressed and she continues to IM me. Then, all of a sudden..*WHAM* she starts in with realllly sexually explicit talk. I even mentioned this girl to Kristen, as I do any oddballs that have IM'ed me out of the blue. Firstly, this internet sex-talk crap is not my cup of tea. Secondly, call me shallow, but I really needed a picture or something to verify that I wasn't talking to some 13 yr old girl. Regardless of these factors, I wasn't interested. Last month, she IM's me and tells me this whole story about how she got knocked up by her ex-boyfriend (who has 3 toes on each foot!!)and she just got an abortion last week. I'm just like "oh, sorry to hear that." And that was that. I hadn't gotten IM'ed by her in a while and then I did the other day. She starts in about how I'm such a good friend (I can't imagine why, I barely talked to her at all)and she has to tell me something, but she's afraid it will ruin our "friendship." I just said, say whatever it is you have to say, thinking in the back of my mind, "oh shit, this is some 12 yr old girl using mommy and daddy's computer". The bombshell: "My name is Karl." I was thinking that this is the EXACT reason why I don't spend all day online. Ol' Karl boys comments followed as a combination of "you can't be mad at me" and "it was the only lie I told you". And what of the abortion? "Oh, that too." Instead of attacking this moron, I just logged off, blocked his name, and went about my merry way. in the slammer - up for parole CLIX |
